March 17, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Come enjoy pizza, a movie, and a panel, all while learning if robots can fall in love!

Ex Machina, earning 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, and winning an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, tells the story of a programmer who wins a contest to spend a week with the CEO of his company. While there, Caleb meets Ava, the first AI woman who is both beautiful and sophisticated. The question arises, just how intelligent is Ava?

RWU Brain Club presents Ex Machina and a panel, to explain some of the questions you may have after watching. The panel includes Psychologists and Cognitive Philosophers, that will debunk parts of the plot, as well as explain core ideas the movie presents.
