Program Description:

Migraine is a highly complex disease that impacts more than 39 million people in the U.S. We know that up to half of people with migraine have not been diagnosed properly and many are not receiving optimal treatment. This symposium features three panel discussions that include prominent headache and migraine clinicians, and researchers from around the country. Our goals are to increase medical providers’ knowledge and ability to effectively diagnose and treat migraine disease and to be knowledgeable about the wide variety of symptoms.

Who Should Attend:

Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses, practicing in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, and other interested medical providers.

At the conclusion of the symposium, participants should be able to: ● Accurately diagnose and manage vestibular migraine ● Accurately diagnose and manage hormone-related migraine ● Know why they are often confused by the presentation of sinus headache
