Come discover the human brain! Ever wonder how we learn and remember? How do optical illusions work? Come hold a real preserved brain or peer at neurons through a microscope. Check out “brains in a dish” or try your hand at an EEG recording. Experience virtual reality or make original digital art using your own brain waves! Younger kids can enjoy crafts, games, tasty treats, and face painting.
At the Brown Brain Fair you’ll find more than 20 labs, organizations, and institutes who will give you a glimpse of their research using games and fun demonstrations. Last year the fair was attended by over 600 people, it won “Event of the Year” from the Brown Student Activities Office and was covered by several media outlets, including the Providence Journal and the Brown Daily Herald.
