BRAINY Visits

Every year in March, we assemble several teams of neuroscience graduate and undergraduate students who help us spread the word about brain science. We train them to deliver grade-appropriate, interactive neuroscience lessons and then partner them up with K-12 schools in the state. If you work with children in any capacity (schools, afterschool programs, community centers, libraries, etc), you can request a FREE visit from one of our qualified teams. Visits typically occur during the weeks before Brain Week. This varies by year, but is often in the last 2 weeks of February and first 2-3 weeks of March. If you are interested in hosting a BRAINY Visit, please email us or contact us through social media. In-person visits are cancelled for 2020 and 2021. This year, you can explore our virtual BRAINY Adventures.

Our amazing BRAINY Teams are:

  • Brain Week RI Committee Team
  • Brown University - Neuroscience Graduate Program
  • Brown University - CLPS Graduate Program
  • University of Rhode Island - Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program
  • Roger Williams University - Brain Club
  • Providence College - Brain Club
